Terms of Service

Last updated: August 14, 2026

By using Flock & Field ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you're using it on behalf of a farm or organization, you're confirming you have the authority to agree on its behalf.

The service

Flock & Field is farm and livestock record-keeping software, offered on Free, Basic, and Pro subscription tiers billed per farm. We aim to keep it available and reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted access — treat it as a tool that helps you keep records, not as the sole copy of any data critical to your operation. Export your data periodically from Account → Export your data.

Your account and data

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, and for who you invite to your farm and what role/permissions they have. You own your farm's data; we don't claim any rights to it beyond what's needed to operate the service on your behalf.

Public listings

If you enable a public farm page and mark animals for sale, you're responsible for the accuracy of what's shown there and for any transactions that result from it — Flock & Field is not a party to, and takes no responsibility for, sales arranged between you and a buyer.

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe and can be cancelled at any time from Billing — cancelling stops future charges but doesn't retroactively refund the current billing period unless we say otherwise.

Acceptable use

Don't use the app to store or publish anything illegal, to abuse or attack the service (e.g. attempting to bypass rate limits or access other farms' data), or to impersonate someone else.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data or lost sales from a public listing.

Reports, cost breakdowns, withdrawal-period dates, and any other calculated figures the app shows you are automatically generated estimates based solely on what you've entered — they are not veterinary, financial, tax, or legal advice, and we don't guarantee their accuracy or completeness. You're responsible for independently verifying anything you rely on, including confirming actual medication withdrawal periods with your veterinarian or the product label before selling or consuming meat, milk, or eggs, and for complying with any food-safety, inspection, or other regulations that apply to your farm.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves; we'll update the date at the top when we do.
